A Time Traveler’s Guide to Psychodrama: Exploring Timelines and Future Projections

Step into the dimension where past, present, and future meet in action. This training introduces techniques for guiding participants through timelines, past explorations, and future projections to foster insight, integration, and growth. You’ll learn how to help individuals revisit key life moments, anchor in the present, and envision empowering futures—all within a trauma-informed framework.

In this experiential training, you’ll discover how time-based methods in psychodrama reveal the stories that shape us—and how re-sequencing, reimagining, and re-enacting them can open pathways to healing. Through structured practice and group enactment, you’ll explore how to facilitate “time travel” with clarity, containment, and creativity.

You will be able to:

  • Facilitate future projections within a psychodramatic structure

  • Use timelines to explore themes, patterns, and points of transformation

  • Support integration of personal narrative through trauma-informed and strengths based approaches

*No prior psychodrama experience is required.
